Women’s Track and Field Participates Florida University Last Chance, Excelling in the 3000m

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team participated in the Florida University Last Chance at the Alachua County Sports Complex, highlighted by their performance in the 3000m.


The 3000m saw two new additions to the top 10 in program history, as Abby Valley (10:13.62) and Ariana Anderson (10.28.02) set the fourth and sixth fastest times in program history respectively, while they and Kendall Mathis (10:51.55) set personal records.
 

Hailey Bruce set a personal record in the weight throw with her 12.15m toss.

Maria Persson had the best 400m result of her career, running it in 1:02.22.

Sydney Cash tied her career record in the 60m hurdles, running it in 10.63, while Alaina Rider set a career record of 2:25.49 in the 800m.

Cerenity Daise set a personal record in the triple jump with a 11.77m leap.

The Eagles are also in action tomorrow up in Massachusetts, as they'll be sending a small contingent to participate in the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University.
