MARTINEZ, Ga. — Embry-Riddle Track and Field made the most of its trip out to California, as its outing at the Bryan Clay Invitational yielded two of the weekly Peach Belt Conference awards.

Jake Fritz was named the Peach Belt Conference Male Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, his second weekly PBC honor of the season. Fritz set the third best time in the 800m in program history as he ran the event in a time of 1:50.92. Not only does this time meet a provisional standard, it also sets a personal record for Fritz.

Mikaela Miles was named the Peach Belt Conference Female Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, as she set a new program record in the triple jump of 12.37m, which also meets a provisional standard. This is the sixth time Miles has won a weekly PBC honor, and third time this season.
