Vancouver, Wash. - The No. 6 Embry-Riddle women's rowing team competed in the Pioneer/Pilot Invitational in Vancouver Lake, winning one race before weather curtailed the event.
The Eagles took first place in the varsity fours race, as the boat of
Shelby Ernst,
Sofia Lorenzini,
Soleil Edwards,
Alexandra Weilert and
Laurel Grein (coxswain) finished in a time of 8:34.1, beating out No. 2 Cal Poly Humboldt, No. 3 Seattle Pacific, and No. 4 Western Washington, as well as two NCAA Division I institutions, Portland and Seattle.
The varisty eights boat also competed, as

Alexandria Fife-Winslow,
Danielle DelGrippo,
Katie Braddick,
Briella Goldenberg,
Aria Moses,
Reagan Hurt and
Jadyn Harjung (coxswain) came in fifth in 8:16.0.
It's back to the East Coast for ERAU, as the team will be taking part in the Knecht Cup next weekend. The event will be taking place at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken, N.J. on April 13-14.
