PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - No. 4 Embry-Riddle women's rowing started day one of the Dad Vail Regatta, advancing to a semifinal and a final in the Cooper River at the Camden County Boathouse.
The day started off with a win in the D-II Fours time trial, as the boat of
Alexandria Fife-Winslow,
Sofia Glaser,
Caterina Hart,
Briella Goldenberg and
Laurel Grein (coxswain) won in a time of 8:55.909, ahead of No. 7 Tampa, No. 4 Mercyhurst and No. 8 Rollins.
ERAU then came in third in the varsity eights time trial, as
Shelby Ernst,
Sofia Lorenzini,
Soleil Edwards,
Alexandra Weilert,
Aria Moses,
Reagan Hurt,
Abby Webb,
Kristen Vigna and
Jadyn Harjung (coxswain) finished in 7:07.967.
Embry-Riddle then captured first place in the D-II fours semifinals with a time of 8:51.626.
The Eagles will wrap up the Dad Vail Regatta tomorrow, as the varsity eights semifinals will take place at 10:24 a.m. Should the Eagles advance, they will compete in the final at 4:30 p.m. after the D-II Fours Grand Final at 2:52 p.m.
