WILMINGTON, Del. - For the second straight season, Embry-Riddle women's rowing saw two of its student-athletes selected to a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-American team as Shelby Ernst garnered first team honors while Soleil Edwards earned a spot on the second team.

Edwards and Ernst were key components in Embry-Riddle's Eight boat this year, a shell that was named the Boat of the Year by the Sunshine State Conference. The two Eagles started the 2023-24 campaign strong with a winning performance at the Head of the Schuylkill in Eights. Then the pair shined at the Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships with golds in DII Fours and Eights and a runner-up result in Fours to help the Blue and Gold capture a state title. Edwards also earned a gold in Pairs.

A couple weeks later, Edwards and Ernst earned the title of the fastest Eight boat in the SSC with a victory at the conference championship to assist ERAU in claiming a third-straight SSC crown. Their performance all throughout the season aided the Eagles to another appearance at the NCAA II National Championship.

This is Ernst's second All-American selection after making the second team in 2023 while this is the first time Edwards received the accolade.
