DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Setting its sights on its fifth straight NCAA II National Tournament appearance, the Embry-Riddle men's basketball program has unveiled its 2024-25 schedule, head coach Steve Ridder announced Monday. Ridder, entering his 36th season on the sidelines, has put together a tough 28-game schedule on the heels of one of the more successful NCAA seasons to date.

ERAU finished last year 22-10, going 14-6 in conference play, while making it all the way to the second round of the South Region before falling to eventual NCAA runners-up Nova Southeastern.

The Eagles tip off the season on the road for the South Region Crossover in West Palm Beach on Nov. 8 and 9, set to take on Morehouse and Trevecca Nazarene to open up the 2024-25 campaign. ERAU went 1-1 in the Crossover last year, with its win coming against Morehouse in the two programs' first ever meeting.

The Blue & Gold then turn around to host historic rival Flagler on Nov. 14 before a visit from Savannah State on Nov. 16. Two quick Sunshine State Conference games early in the season are in line as ERAU heads to Eckerd on Nov. 20 and hosts Barry on Nov. 23.

Subsequently, two Puerto Rican teams are on the docket for ERAU around Thanksgiving, as the Eagles will play host to Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras (Nov. 26) and Puerto Rico-Mayaguez (Nov. 30) around the holiday.

From there, ERAU steps back into conference play for two, hosting Florida Tech on Dec. 4 followed by Saint Leo 10 days later on Dec. 14. The following week, Embry-Riddle will once again host the Bahama House Classic at the ICI Center, as Mount Olive (Dec. 20) and Lees-McRae (Dec. 21) make the trip south for the winter. This will mark the first meeting for the Eagles with both programs.

After the calendar switches to 2025, ERAU will hit its gauntlet SSC stretch. Road games at Lynn (Jan. 2) and Florida Southern (Jan. 8) will kick the new year off, followed by visits to the ICI Center from Tampa (Jan. 11) and Palm Beach Atlantic (Jan. 15).

A tale of two road trips awaits after, as the Eagles take a short jaunt to Rollins on Jan. 18 followed by a lengthy trip to Nova Southeastern on Jan. 22. Eckerd then breaks up a stretch of ERAU road contests when the Tritons make a return visit to Daytona on Jan. 25.

Embry-Riddle will then head to Melbourne to take on Florida Tech on Jan. 29 before opening February up with a road trip to Saint Leo (Feb. 1). Lynn (Feb. 5) and Florida Southern (Feb. 12) are up next in the comforts of home, followed by trips to Tampa (Feb. 15) and PBA (Feb. 19).

Rollins and Nova then make return visits to Daytona on Feb. 22 and 26, respectively, before the Eagles close out the regular season on the road at Barry on March 1. The SSC Tournament will take place between March 4-9 with locations to be determined based on seeding. The winner of the tournament will receive the SSC's automatic bid to the NCAA II National Tournament in late March.

All home contests and all road SSC games will be streamed live and for free on the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network.
