Gainesville, Fla. -  The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team had an impressive performance at the RADD Sports College Invitational. The Eagles recorded multiple PRs, top-three finishes, and a new ERAU all-time record.

Highlight Performances

  • Brooklynn Gould: She finished first in the pentathlon, breaking her own ERAU record for the second time, scoring 3702. This score was enough to beat the provisional standard set by the NCAA and a new facility record at the Alachua County Sports Complex.
  • Sydney Cash: A score of 2534 in the pentathlon was a career-best performance for the junior. This was also the seventh-best finish by an Eagle in the school's history.
  • Mikaela Miles: Miles soared once again in the triple jump, matching her record of 12.28m. In addition to this, she met the provisional standard for the second consecutive meet.
  • Kirsten Rolle: 16.96m was the weight throw that earned Rolle a second-place finish at the RADD Invitational. This resulted in a PR and was the ERAU's ninth longest all-time throw.
  • Jade Nayap: Nayap, a freshman, flew over the high jump bar at 1.65m and second place. This also equaled the second best all-time jump.
Rankings Update
  • Brooklynn Gould: ranked sixth in NCAA Division II for the pentathlon.
  • Mikaela Miles: ranked fourth in NCAA Division II for the triple jump.

The Eagles return to the RADD Sports Invitational on Saturday for the remainder of the meet, and they are looking to carry this momentum forward.
