CHAMPIONSGATE, Fla. - Embry-Riddle Men's Golf had a successful start to the Citrus Intercollegiate on Monday as the Eagles are third on the leaderboard in a talented field featuring four ranked teams and six programs receiving votes. At just four over par (580), Embry-Riddle finds itself ahead of notable opponents such as No. 14 Nova Southeastern (+20), No. 15 Lynn (+13) and No. 21 Rollins (+30).

That's partially thanks to the play of Ryan Gear (-2, T-7th) and Ian Ball (E, T-9th), who both acquired spots inside the top 10.
