Daytona Beach, Fla. -- The Blue and Gold will once again be led by head coach Mike Rosolino as they enter their 2026 slate of competition, looking to defend their sweep of both the men's and women's Peach Belt Conference titles during the indoor and outdoor seasons. The Eagles will also be battling for their first Sunshine State Conference Track & Field Championship after Embry-Riddle hosted the inaugural event last year.
Embry-Riddle will spend January and February in Gainesville at the Alachua Sports Complex for the first five meets of the indoor season. The campaign opens on January 15 at the Jimmy Carnes Classic, followed by three consecutive weekends of competition. After a scheduled break, the team will prepare for the 2026 PBC Indoor Championships on February 23. Individuals and relay teams who achieve NCAA qualifying marks will look to rank inside the top 18 nationally (individual events), top 16 (heptathlon/decathlon), and top 12 (relays) to earn a spot at the NCAA II Indoor National Championship in Virginia Beach on March 13–14.
Attention will then shift quickly to the 2026 outdoor season, which features eight scheduled meets as the Eagles aim to earn a ninth — a berth to the NCAA II Outdoor National Championship, May 21–23 in Emporia, Kansas.
March showcases three competitions, beginning with the Eagle Invite at home in Daytona Beach on March 7. The team will then compete in back-to-back weekends at the University of Central Florida for the UCF Black & Gold Invitational (March 20–21) and the UCF Knights Invite (March 27–28).
April brings another trio of meets and the start of championship season. Embry-Riddle will host the ERAU Running Elements Meet from April 2–4, followed by a trip to the University of South Florida for the USF Invitational. The Eagles then return home for the second-ever Sunshine State Conference Track & Field Championships.
May will close out the 2026 campaign. The Eagles open the month at the 2026 PBC Outdoor Championships on May 1–2, followed by a trip to Tennessee for the Lee Last Chance Meet. Select individuals who meet national standards will then head west to the NCAA II Outdoor National Championship beginning May 21 in Kansas.
