TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Members of the Embry-Riddle women's track and field team competed on the second day of the Terry Long Florida State University Relays. The competition featured a new javelin record set by
Maxi Kirschner and standout performances from
Taylor Roth and
Mikaela Miles.
HIGHLIGHT PERFORMANCES
- Javelin – Kirschner delivered an outstanding throw of 46.45m, setting a new ERAU record and securing third place. Hailey Bruce also had a standout performance, improving her personal best to 43.73m, which moved her up to the sixth-longest throw in school history. They both hit NCAA Division II provisional mark.
- Roth – Roth was one of three Eagles to compete in the 800m, finishing in third place with a time of 2:10.69, a NCAA Division II provisional mark.
- Miles – In her first outdoor meet of the season, Miles earned second place with a 12.59m jump in the triple jump. While it didn't surpass her ERAU record, it marked the second-longest jump in school history and a NCAA Division II provisional mark.

The Eagles will return home for the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic, taking place from April 3 to April 5.
