TAMPA, Fla. — The Embry-Riddle track and field team competed in multiple meets over the weekend, including the South Florida Invitational hosted by the University of South Florida and the PURE Athletics Sprint Elite meet at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. On Friday, NCAA Division II Indoor All-American Brooklynn Gould represented the Eagles in the heptathlon at the 2025 Bryan Clay Multi Event in Azusa, Calif.

Highlight Performances:

  • Javelin — Maxi Kirschner and Hailey Bruce got the Eagles off to a strong start, placing second (42.54m) and sixth (40.09m), respectively.

  • Mid-Distance — Freshman Emily Tubbs continued her impressive season, placing third in the 1500m with a time of 4:51.10. Taylor Roth also turned in a solid effort, finishing fifth in the 800m with a time of 2:10.68.

  • Bryan Clay Multi Event — Gould placed 10th in the heptathlon, breaking her own school record. Along the way, she notched personal bests in both the 200m dash (25.30) and the long jump (5.89m).

  • Mikaela Miles — Miles recorded a 6.12m mark in the long jump, which would have been a program record. However, due to illegal wind, the mark is unofficial. She'll look to make it count in her next opportunity.

The Eagles return home to Daytona Beach on April 19 to host the Sunshine State Conference Track Championships.
