DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team surged into first place at the Peach Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, scoring 122 points, an impressive 58.5 point lead ahead of second. The Eagles captured four gold medals throughout the day, supported by a series of top 10 ERAU performances.
Championship performances:
- Long Jump – The Eagles dominated with a podium sweep. Brooklynn Gould placed third with a mark of 5.38m, followed by Kylie Davis in second at 5.46m. Mikaela Miles delivered a personal best jump of 6.03m to win gold—marking the second-longest jump in ERAU history. Miles also met the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field provisional standard.
- Hammer Throw – Kirsten Rolle led the field with a commanding throw of 47.31m to claim the gold medal, finishing nearly three meters ahead of teammate Madison Morris, who earned silver with a throw of 44.89m.
- High Jump – Gould earned her second medal of the day, clearing 1.50m to take silver. Megan Grant achieved a personal best of 1.60m to win gold in the event.
- Javelin Throw – Embry-Riddle swept the top four positions. Sierra Coward took fourth place with a throw of 36.00m, Gould claimed bronze at 38.31m, and Hailey Bruce secured silver with a mark of 40.40m. Maxi Kirschner captured gold with a throw of 44.54m—the fourth-longest in ERAU history and good enough to meet the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field provisional standard.
