PUEBLO, COLO. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team made a strong showing on the national stage this week, with Brooklynn Gould, Taylor Roth, and Mikaela Miles competing at the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships in Pueblo, Colorado. The trio came out strong with Gould shinning with an All-American finish and new ERAU record.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gould earned another First Team All-American honor, finishing fifth in the heptathlon. She broke her own ERAU record with a total of 5,407 points. Gould achieved personal bests in both the javelin (42.00m) and the shot put (11.12m), highlighting her strength across the throwing events.
- Roth made her National Championship debut in the 800m, clocking a time of 2:20.68 to finish 13th in the preliminary round.
- Miles took flight in the long jump finishing in the top 20 with a jump of 5.73m on thursday evening.
UP NEXT
Miles and Maxi Kirschner are set to compete tomorrow. Kirschner will throw the javelin at 1:30 p.m., followed by Miles in the triple jump at 7:30 p.m.
