CRCA Names Kinlocke as Division 2 Athlete of the Year Finalist

| By:
WILMINGTON, Del. -  Embry-Riddle Women's Rowing's Sarah Kinlocke was announced on Wednesday as one of the three finalists for the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association's Athlete of the Year award for Division 2. The other finalists are Cal Poly Humboldt's Kealey Scott and Western Washington's Taylor Wall. It's the third-straight season the program has seen one of its student-athletes selected as a finalist as Kinlocke joins Shelby Ernst (2024) and Sofia Lorenzini (2023).

Kinlocke stepped in immediately and became a key component of ERAU's Varsity 8 shell. She competed in all ten regattas and two duals throughout 2024-25. The freshman earned gold at the FIRA Championships while also claiming V8 titles at the SSC and NCAA II Championships to aid the Eagles in capturing titles at the state, conference and national levels.

The winner will be announced by the CRCA this Friday at 2 p.m.
