LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A program-record 17 members of the Embry-Riddle softball team, roughly 77 percent of the roster, received Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athlete honors thanks to their performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
Kodi Alvord (Aeronautical Science), Katriana Bain (Communication), Aspyn Beattie (Air Traffic Management), Raissa Bianco (Civil Engineering),
Isabelle Bonn (Aeronautical Science),
Ava Domenici (Human Factors Psychology),
Gianna Domenici (Aerospace Engineering),
Mallory Kinahan (Communication),
Kelsey Kressler (Computational Mathematics and Meteorology),
Mattea Martin (Interdisciplinary Studies),
Ginna Mohr (Communication),
Shelby Morse (Communication),
Leah Oberkehr (Civil Engineering),
Kerry O'Sullivan (Aeronautical Science),
Parker Ray (Interdisciplinary Studies),
Larisa Sol Tinajero (Aeronautical Science), and
Emma Wood (Aviation Business Administration) all met the qualification of a GPA at or above 3.50 on a 4.00 scale for the 2024-25 academic year. Bianco, Morse and Ray each earned straight A's in both semesters for a perfect 4.0 GPA for the year.
Kinahan ends her career having been awarded the accolade in each of her four years. Bianco, A. Domenici, G. Domenici, Kressler, Mohr, Morse, and Oberkehr received the academic distinction for the third time while Alvord, Bonn, O'Sullivan, and Ray earned it on a second occasion.
Embry-Riddle Softball recorded a team GPA of 3.63 during 2024-25. Impressively, 20 of the team's 22 members earned a GPA of 3.00 or better for the year. The NFCA will recognize the top 10 academic teams in NCAA Division II in the fall.
