DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Coming off back-to-back national tournament appearances and a pair of conference championships, Head Coach
Lisa Wilson and the Embry-Riddle women's basketball team enter the 2025-26 season with high expectations. The Eagles' roster features six returners alongside seven newcomers, including six true freshmen and transfer guard
Eliana Sheplee from Northern Iowa.
The upcoming campaign includes 15 home games inside the ICI Center as part of a 26-game regular season. ERAU opens the year by hosting the GSC/SSC Crossover Classic, where the Eagles will face Montevallo on Friday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. before squaring off with AUM the following afternoon. Embry-Riddle has gone a perfect 6-0 in the event over the past three years. The homestand continues Nov. 19 when Flagler visits for Food Brings Hope Night.
Conference play begins on the road Nov. 22 at Saint Leo, followed by a trip to Georgia for the program's first-ever matchup with Valdosta State. A marquee December matchup awaits on Dec. 6 in Fort Lauderdale as ERAU takes on Nova Southeastern in a rematch of last year's SSC Tournament Championship.
Embry-Riddle will have another three-game homestand during the Holiday Season, when they take on Barry (Dec. 13), before hosting Emmanuel (Dec. 18) and Davenport (Dec. 19) in the ERAU Holiday Classic.
The new year starts with four of the first five contests at home, featuring Eckerd (Jan. 3), Palm Beach Atlantic (Jan. 7), Lynn (Jan. 10), and Tampa (Jan. 17). The lone road game in that stretch comes Jan. 14 at Florida Southern. The first half of SSC play concludes Jan. 21 at Rollins before the Eagles cycle through league opponents a second time.
February brings key matchups down the stretch. After a Jan. 24 trip to Eckerd, the Eagles return home to host Florida Tech (Jan. 28) before back-to-back road tests at Barry (Jan. 31) and Tampa (Feb. 7). The final homestand of the season features Rollins (Feb. 11), Florida Southern (Feb. 14), and Nova Southeastern (Feb. 18). ERAU will then travel south for games at Lynn (Feb. 21) and Palm Beach Atlantic (Feb. 25).
Senior Night is set for Feb. 28, when the Eagles close the regular season against Saint Leo at the ICI Center.
The top eight teams in the league standings will advance to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament, beginning with the quarterfinals on March 3. The SSC champion, crowned March 8, will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA II postseason, which tips off March 13.
All ERAU home contests and SSC road games will be streamed live on the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network.
