New Orleans, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country Preseason Regional Rankings on Tuesday, with the Eagles earning the No. 5 spot in the South Region. The ranking mirrors their strong finish at last season's NCAA South Regional Meet.
Four other Sunshine State Conference programs also landed in the top 10: Florida Southern (4), Tampa (6), Palm Beach Atlantic (7), and Florida Tech (9), showcasing the depth of talent within the conference.
The Eagles are aiming to climb into the top three by November's NCAA South Regional Meet. A top-three finish would secure an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II National Championships in Wisconsin.
