For the second time this season, Eliana Sheplee has been named the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week after leading the Eagles to an undefeated week. The Rice Lake, Wisconsin native helped ERAU secure a 70-65 victory over Eckerd and a 69-63 win against Florida Tech, averaging 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting an efficient .531 from the field and .500 from three-point range. Sheplee had her third game of the season with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds against Florida Tech, finishing with 24 points and 10 rebounds in the contest. In the win over Eckerd, she was perfect from beyond the arc, scoring 17 points to go along with nine rebounds and two steals.
The redshirt freshman first earned SSC Player of the Week honors on November 24 after averaging 23.0 points per game, highlighted by a 35-point performance in ERAU's 74-70 win over Flagler, the highest single-game scoring output in the conference this season. In that contest, Sheplee also made program history by becoming the first Eagle to go perfect from the free-throw line with at least 10 attempts.
Sheplee's accolades continued on December 15 when she was named SSC Defensive Player of the Week following a dominant 25-point, 11-rebound effort in ERAU's 96–52 victory over Barry. She collected 10 defensive rebounds and notched a season-high three steals in the win.
Through the first half of the season, Sheplee leads the conference in scoring at 18.8 points per game while averaging 7.0 rebounds, shooting 88.2 percent from the free-throw line,and adding nearly two steals per game, ranking top 10 in the league in each of those categories.
