WROW CRCA Watch List

Moses, Hoffman, and Thompson named CRCA 2026 Athletes to Watch

| By:
WILMINGTON, Del. – Embry-Riddle women's rowing placed three student-athletes on the 2026 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Athletes to Watch list, with Aria Moses, Gracie Thompson and Lauren Hoffman earning the distinction. Only 14 rowers from around the country were selected, with each athlete being nominated by her respective coach, with selections based on performance, consistency, leadership, work ethic, sportsmanship and overall impact on the program.

Aria Moses, a reigning CRCA First Team All-American, was one of seven seniors recognized nationwide. Moses has helped lead the Eagles to a conference championship in every season of her career, including an NCAA Division II Rowing national championship last spring. During her freshman and sophomore campaigns, the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native was also named to the SSC Boat of the Year, earning the honor both seasons as a member of the Varsity 8.

Gracie Thompson, who is set to begin her sophomore season with the Blue and Gold, was another Eagle to receive the recognition. From Egham, England, she helped lead ERAU to a state championship last year, capturing gold in the Division II Fours and the Freshman/Novice Eights at the Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships. Off the water, Thompson was named to the 2025 SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Lauren Hoffman, a freshman from Roanoke, Virginia, has been on campus for just one semester but earned her place on the list following an impressive fall campaign. Hoffman, an Aerospace Engineering major, was also named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester.

As a team, the Eagles will begin the season ranked No. 1 in the nation, looking to defend the program's first-ever national championship. ERAU returns to the water on February 28, when they host the University of Miami on the Halifax River.
