MIAMI, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's soccer team used a stellar second half to beat Johnson & Wales on Sunday afternoon in a rain filled contest in North Miami. With the win, the Eagles improved to 6-4, 1-1 in Sun Conference play, with the Wildcats falling to 2-3, 0-2 in conference.
After a two hour weather delay the Eagles came out ready to play, getting on the board first as

on goal.
The Blue and Gold found another level of play in the second half, scoring two goals in a two minute span. Obita netted her 11

Helena Hansson who had dribbled the ball past her defender and with fancy footwork, kept the ball in bounds and found Obita's feet for the goal.
The third goal of the game was the second of the game, eighth on the season, for Olsen who received a great cross from
Ange Durston-Ryan after she beat her defender down the left side and found Olsen open in front of the net.
The Eagle defense was dominant in the second half, not allowing a shot in the second half. Embry-Riddle dominated the second half with 19 shots and four corner kicks while Johnson & Wales had neither of both.
The Eagles tallied 22 shots in all, seven on goal while the Wildcats had just two shots, none on the net.
