DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's tennis team posted its third consecutive shutout of the season, downing Warner 9-0 in Sun Conference play. The second-ranked Eagles improved their season record to 8-3 and remain unbeaten in league play at 4-0.
 
The third flight doubles pair of Giovanna Tomiotto and Ana Gonzalez-Hoy put the Eagles on the board with their 8-0 shutout of Cindy Prieto and Maggie Diaz. Paula Ortiz Couder and Kathryn Bock followed with an 8-2 win over Fernanda Correa and Paula Garcia on court two and Hui-I Huang and Anna Götz dispatched Nhatalia Ocampo and Caitlyn Ryan 8-1 to give ERAU a 3-0 advantage heading into singles.
 
Bock was the first to finish her singles match on court five as she turned back Prieto 6-1, 6-0. Huang was next off the court as she held off Ocampo 6-4, 6-0 to score the clinching point.
 
Götz downed Correa 6-3, 6-4 at the second position, while Tomiotto battled Garcia to a 7-5, 6-3 win. Jessica Lown handled Diaz 6-0, 6-0 and Gonzalez-Hoy closed out the scoring for the Eagles with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Ryan at the fourth spot.
 
The Eagles will be back in action at 11 a.m. on Wednesday to host Oklahoma Baptist at the Crotty Tennis Complex.
