LAKELAND, Fla. – Sunday marked the final day of play for members of the Embry-Riddle men's tennis team at the ITA South Regional hosted by Florida Southern.
 
The Eagles had two teams playing in the doubles consolation bracket. Rodolfo Arreygue and Mickael Faucher teamed up to take on Jakub Jiricka and Mehdi Laalej in the round of eight, but they were unable to get by the Lynn duo, falling 8-3.
 
Carlos Becke and Juan Ortiz Couder advanced to the consolation semifinals and battled hard, but in the end, it was Florida Tech's Tjimon Louisy and JJ Clark who came away with an 8-6 win.
 
The Eagles will have a few weeks to prepare for their next tournament, which will be the West Florida Fall Fling in Pensacola, Oct. 14-16.
