CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Embry-Riddle women's rowing team took part in the Head of the Hooch regatta on Saturday, with the Novice 8+ boat taking eighth place to highlight the day's results.
The Novice 8+ boat clocked a time of 17:13.344 to finish eighth in a field of 39 boats. The Eagle boat consisted of

Jodie Harmon,

ERAU's tandem of
Alyssa Hodum and
Julianna Snider took 16th in the Championship 2x race with a time of 21:39.142.
Embry-Riddle also posted an 18th-place finish in the Championship 8+ race, with
Athena Padgiotis,
Kaya Treder,
Rachel Hemsworth,
Diana Perera,
Lauren Stollenwerk,
Melinda Fix,
Alyssa Crystal,
Madeline Casper, and
Kathryn Chilelli finishing in 17:35.418.
"We're very proud of the work the team has been putting in this fall," Head Coach
Jamie Francis said. "The Hooch is a good place to test that work against some of the fastest programs in the region. With one more race this fall we're looking forward to the Head of the South as well as looking beyond to the spring season."
Next up, the Blue and Gold will travel to Augusta, Georgia on Saturday, Nov. 10, to participate in the Head of the South, which will serve as ERAU's final fall regatta.
