JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team competed at the North Florida Invitational on Friday as University of North Florida hosted the event. Phoebe Gustely highlighted the day for the Eagles as she finished first in the discus.

In the field events, Gustely won the discus by almost three meters, topping out with a toss of 46.00 meters. Merari Coronado finished in third in the shot put as she tallied a throw of 14.42 meters.

On the track,
Kristen Metcalfe finished second in the 800-meter as she finished with a time of 2:06.21. She finished a second behind first place finisher Michelle Howell (2:05.27) of Jacksonville.

Sarah Edens had a nice day, finishing fourth in the 1500 meter with a time of 4:47.81 and finished in third in the 5k with a time of 17:33.14. The Eagles 4X400 meter relay team of
Breona Butts,
Daisha Brown,
Kristen Metcalfe and Ukeyvia Beckwith finished in third with a time of 3:47.02.

Next up, ERAU will travel to Tallahassee, Florida, to take part in the Seminole Twilight hosted by the Florida State University. The Seminole Twilight will take place from Thursday, May 4th.Â
