Cashdollar, Peters and Warren Named to Google Cloud Academic All-District Team

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - A trio of athletes from the Embry-Riddle men's track and field and cross country teams have been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Team, selected by CoSIDA. The teams are chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and honor those student-athletes who have shown success in athletics and in the classroom.

Daniel Cashdollar, Nick Peters, and Calahan Warren were each selected to the Academic All-District Team, representing the Blue and Gold with three Eagles among the 10 student-athletes chosen from the Gulf South, Southern Intercollegiate and Sunshine State Conferences.

Cashdollar, a senior, finished his studies with a 3.85 GPA in Aerospace Engineering. A native of Evans City, Pennsylvania, Cashdollar notched a personal best in the indoor pole vault with a 4.55m height at the JDL Last Chance Invitational. He also posted a PR in the javelin with a distance of 50.24m at the Spikes Classic and pole vaulted to an outdoor personal best of 4.70m at the Peach Belt Conference Championships, helping the Eagles win the conference title in their first season of eligibility.

Peters, a senior, ended his ERAU career with a 3.90 GPA in Aerospace Engineering. Hailing from Bradenton, Peters registered personal-best marks in the indoor long jump (5.91m), indoor shot put (10.27m), and outdoor javelin (47.38m). He also hit a qualifying standard with a personal-best result of 5184 points in the decathlon in April.

Warren, a junior, currently has a 3.84 GPA in Business Administration. A native of Auburndale, Warren achieved outdoor provisional qualifying standards in the 800m (1:51.11) and 1500m (3:47.33). His time in the 1500m was fast enough to earn him a spot in the field at the NCAA II Outdoor National Championships, where he finished 16th in 3:54.10. Warren was also the Peach Belt Conference champion in the 800m and the 1500m and was the PBC Male Track Athlete of the Week on May 7.

Cashdollar, Peters, and Warren will now advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America Team ballot, with honorees announced in June.
