Caito and Diggs Make Top-20 Finishes in the Triple Jump

PUEBLO, COLO. – The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team had a strong presence at the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships on Friday evening, with Antonio Caito and Kobe Diggs both earning top-20 finishes in the triple jump. Diggs highlighted the evening with a personal best and a historic mark in ERAU history.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Caito turned in a solid performance, leaping 15.45m to secure a spot among the top 20 in the nation. His effort not only placed him well in the standings but also ranked as the fourth-longest triple jump in ERAU program history.
  • Diggs delivered a career-best performance, recording a jump of 15.53m. His mark is now the second-longest triple jump in ERAU history as he closes out the season on a strong note.

The Blue and Gold return to action on Saturday as Ryan Flournoy is set to compete in the javelin throw at 4:45 p.m. Flournoy will look to close out the championships on a high note for the ERAU men's track and field squad.
