Four Named USTFCCCA All-Americans

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team had four individuals garner All-America honors according to an announcement made by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday. Calahan Warren, Charles Hruda, Josh Collins and Darrell Thomas were all named to the USTFCCCA 2020 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-America roster.

Usually, All-America honors are awarded based on performances at an NCAA national championship. However, with the cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, the Executive Committee handed out awards base on the posted start list for the national championships as announced by the NCAA.

Warren earned All-America recognition in three disciplines as he qualified for the national meet in the 3000m, Mile and distance medley relay. The senior from Auburndale, Florida was slated to make his fourth national championship appearance as the No. 10 seed in the Mile with an ERAU indoor record time of 4:03.08, and the 18th seed in the 3000m with a time of 8:08.20, which is also an ERAU best.

Hruda, Collins and Thomas joined Warren on the DMR squad. The quartet qualified with a time of 9:55.14 as was seeded No. 22.
