WEST PALM BEACH, Florida -
Alyssa Zack ran the 10th-fastest 6K time in Embry-Riddle history on Saturday as the Embry-Riddle women wrapped up the 2020-21 season at the Sunshine State Conference Cross Country Championship. The Eagles placed fourth as a team while Zack ran to a meet runner-up finish, earning a spot on the 10-member All-Championship Team roster.

Zack, who lowered her personal-best 6K time for the second-straight race, finished just eight seconds behind the race winner from Saint Leo, crossing the finish line in 22:42.81. Zack's time marked the fastest 6K time for an Eagle since the fall of 2018, and the fastest ERAU time in the SSC Championship since 2017.
Anna Miller placed 19th overall in 25:00.28 before a trio of Eagles finished consecutively as
Ukeyvia Beckwith (25:54.96),
Ravyn Edge (25:59.48) and
Maggie Allen (26:01.17) went 29th, 30th, and 31st, respectively. For Edge, the freshman dropped more than three minutes off her time from two weeks ago for her best team finish of the 2020-21 season.
Abby Valley finished 40th overall in 27:10.59,
Kelly Steffens finished 44th in 27:26.36 and
Nithya Chummar finished 50th in 28:26.22, a full 45 seconds faster than her previous 6K best.
