DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's track & field team was back in action on Saturday to host the Blue & Gold Invitational at the ERAU Track & Field Complex. Saturday's meet was cut short as continuous rain forced the cancellation most of the field events.

The Eagles posted eight of the 11 fastest 1500m times on the day, led by Paul Kraemer who won the event in 3:57.40.

Competing in his second 400m hurdle event of the year, Zackary Tempert bettered the personal record he set a year ago, winning the event in 1:02.91.

Personal best marks were also achieved by Nick Khoury in the javelin (39.22m) and Seth Cribben in the 110 hurdles (15.99).

In the 3000m Steeplechase, Valdosta State's Logan Kraus moved out in front immediately and the led the field for much of the race. But as the race wore on Garret Noltemeyer steadily closed the gap and on the last lap, he took control of the race winning in a personal best time of 10:05.31.

The Eagles' next meet will be on April 2-3 when they host the Spikes Classic.
