HUNTSVILLE, Alabama - The Embry-Riddle women's cross country team ran one of the fastest races in program history on Saturday morning at the University of Alabama-Huntsville Invitational. The Eagles joined 48 other teams at John Hunt Park in their final regular season race of 2022, finishing 14th overall.

Embry-Riddle's total time was just 1:33.14 with an average finish of 18:38 among its top five finishers. The Eagles beat out Sunshine State Conference foes Nova Southeastern (447), and Florida Southern (502), and were the fourth SSC squad in the final standings.

Mackenzie Keller ran the 11th-fastest 5K time in school history, finishing 45th overall in 18:13.30. Keller was one of five Blue and Gold runners to post PRs on Saturday.
Just missing out on a PR was
Anna Miller who finished in 18:27.50 and 63rd overall. Following Miller were
Ariana Anderson (79th - 18:38.40),
Caroline Harris (101st - 18:49.40), and
Kelly Steffens (131st - 19:05.90) to score for ERAU.Â
Ravyn Edge (178th - 19:43.40) and
Kendall Mathis (180th - 19:44.81) finished sixth and seventh, respectively on the Eagle team. Both Harris and Mathis posted career-best times.

The Eagles return to Daytona Beach to host the 2022 SSC Championship on Saturday, Nov. 5. ERAU will be looking for its' second SSC crown.
