LAKELAND, Florida - The Embry-Riddle women's cross country team wrapped up the 2022 campaign with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA II South Region Championship at Holloway Park on Saturday morning. The Eagles saw a two-spot improvement from last season's region performance where the Blue and Gold placed 10th overall, and all seven Eagles ran their collegiate-best 6K times.

Embry-Riddle - 230 points [31-42-50-51-56 (59) (85)]
The Eagles had a total team time of 1:55:50, and just a 0:48.7 spread, the one of the slimmest in the 18-team field. ERAU's 230 points had them edge Florida Southern (240) for eighth. Lee (48) won the meet, while Palm Beach Atlantic (84), and Tampa (89) both join the Flames in earning automatic bids to the NCAA II National Championship.
