MELBOURNE, Florida - The Sunshine State Conference women's cross country coaches have voiced their opinion of the order of finish for the 2022 SSC Cross Country Championship, and the Embry-Riddle Eagles are picked to finish in a tie for sixth overall. The Eagles, who placed seventh last season at the SSC Championship in Lakeland, totaled 12 points in the seven-team poll, tying with Nova Southeastern.

The top two teams in the preseason poll are separated by just two points with Tampa garnering 34 points and four first-place votes to take the top spot, while defending SSC Champions Saint Leo grabbed the other three first-place votes and 32 total points for second. Florida Southern (26), Palm Beach Atlantic (16), Lynn (15), and ERAU (12) and NSU (12) complete the listing.

The Eagles start the 2022 campaign on Sept. 10 at the Eastern Florida State Fall Classic in Cocoa, Florida.
