DAYTONA BEACH, Florida - The 19th annual Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic was held on Saturday morning on ERAU's athletic campus. The Blue and Gold's
Ariana Anderson led the way for the Eagles, finishing sixth overall as the team took fifth place in the meet.
Embry-Riddle - 99Â points [6-13-22-27-31 (32) (35)]
The Eagles placed fifth overall, just behind NCAA I Seton Hall (95) who finished fourth. Tampa, the preseason pick to win the Sunshine State Conference, held off Palm Beach Atlantic for the team title, scoring 42 total points to the Sailfish's 59. Nova Southeastern finished third with 82 points in the 14-team field.
The Eagles
Anderson (19:08.73) was the lone Eagle to finish in the top-10, with
Mackenzie Keller (19:30.91) placing 13th overall.
Anna Miller (20:02.18),
Kelly Steffens (20:13.77), and
Kendall Mathis (20:21.99) were the Eagle scorers in 22nd, 27th, and 32nd place overall, respectively.Â
