DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – For the third consecutive year, the Embry-Riddle Soccer Stadium will be the site of an NCAA II women's soccer regional event. The 2023 NCAA II National Tournament field was revealed during the DII women's soccer selection show on Monday evening and the Embry-Riddle women's soccer team was awarded the right to host after earning the No. 1 seed in the South Region.

The championship field will include 56 teams, which will compete in a single-elimination tournament. Embry-Riddle women's soccer will host the first two rounds in the South regional tournament which will start on Friday, Nov. 17 and conclude on Sunday, Nov. 19.
The Eagles made Sunshine State Conference history in 2023. After winning the program's second SSC regular season title in three seasons, Embry-Riddle became the first women's soccer program to win four consecutive SSC tournament titles. After topping Florida Southern in the semifinals, ERAU downed Florida Tech 1-0 in the title game to earn an automatic bid to the national tournament for the fourth straight season.
The Eagles are 14-1-3 overall and are ranked 11th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Association poll.
The three-team regional will feature Embry-Riddle, Nova Southeastern and West Florida. West Florida and Nova Southeastern will face each other at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon. As the No. 1 seed, the Eagles received a first-round bye and will play the UWF/NSU winner on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Liam McIlhatton said. "We know that whoever we face out of Nova Southeastern and West Florida will be a difficult game for us as we know both teams very well. Both teams are well coached and are full of talented players but at this stage of the season, you expect to be playing against the best sides. We will now look to get ready for the weekend!"
