JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team wrapped up competition at the River City Classic hosted by the University of North Florida on Friday.
Tristan McWilliam followed his PR in the 1500mon Thursday with a personal record of 1:54.31 in the 800m run.
The Eagles had five athletes in the top 10 of the 110m hurdles led by Jahi Deloatch who took second in 15.61.
Colin McHugh was third in a personal-best 15.63 and
Chris Abell (5th, 15.79),
Heinrich Adriaanse (6th, 16.27) and
Aaron Strauber (8th, 16.61) rounded out the Eagle finishers.
The discus saw Adriaanse top the podium with a throw of 37.28m (122-03). Jake Lyons was fifth with a PR of 36.09m (118-05) and
Aden Parsons also had a personal best with a throw of 29.21m (95-10).
Jacob Fritz grabbed the second win of the day for the Blue and Gold as crossed the line first in the 1500m in a time of 4:13.06.
Next for the Eagles is a short trip on I-4 to Orlando for the UCF Knights Invitational, March 24-25.
