GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team opened the 2024 indoor season at the Jimmy Carnes Invite at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center on Friday, highlighted by a strong performance by Kirsten Rolle.
Rolle made personal history in the weight throw, setting a career best of 16.33m, which was also good for ninth-best in program history and 0.78m higher than her previous record of 15.55m.
Piper Kimes also participated in the pole vault, achieving a mark of 2.95m.
The Eagles are back in action in Gainesville next Friday, as they'll be competing at the RADD College Invite at the Alachua County Sports Complex.
