Koerner Named SSC Setter of the Week

| By:
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference tabbed Embry-Riddle volleyball's Ashlyn Koerner as the Setter of the Week on Monday. It's the seventh time a member of the Blue and Gold has received the weekly honor. Koerner is the first Eagle since 2021 to earn the accolade and just the third in the program's NCAA II era, joining Alyssa Rudd and Emily Weaver. Additionally, she is the third member of the team to take home a weekly award in 2024.

The freshman setter set single-match personal bests in all three contests last week. Against Rollins, Koerner assisted on 34 kills and bested that figure one day later with 37 versus Saint Leo. In ERAU's upset of No. 18 Barry on Saturday, Koerner produced 40 assists, which tied for the fifth-most in a three-set SSC match this season. In total, the Tallahassee, Florida product produced 111 assists, 23 digs and four aces over 11 sets.
