DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – United Soccer Coaches announced on Tuesday that Lauryn Mateo, Grace Foyer and Olivia Gallo were named the 2024 All-South Region team.
 
A sophomore from Orange Park, Florida, Mateo garnered first team All-Region honors after being named to the All-Sunshine State Conference second team for the second year in a row. She started all 19 games in the Eagles' midfield this season, led the Eagles in points (22) and game-winners (4) and tied for the lead in goals (8) and assists (6).
 
Foyer (York, England), who was also named to the All-SSC first team and D2 CSC All-Region squad, earned USC Second Team All-Region honors. The senior started all 19 games in the Eagles' midfield, ranking third on the team in minutes played (1,586). She was second on the team with 19 points and tied Mateo's eight-goal output. She tallied two game-winners and contributed three assists on the year.
 
Gallo capped her junior campaign as a Second Team All-Region honoree. The Stockholm, Sweden product also played in all 19 contests with 18 starts on the Eagles' back line finishing just behind Foyer in minutes played (1,573). She helped the Eagles to six shutouts and a 1.14 goals against average.
