A Strong Finish for Men’s Track and Field at the RADD Sports Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's track, and field team delivered an impressive finish to the RADD Sports College Invitational, recording several personal records and strong performances. 

Highlight Performances: 

  • Carter Speh: Speh recorded multiple personal bests during the heptathlon competition. These included the 60m hurdles (8.74) and the pole vault (3.75m). Finishing sixth in the heptathlon, he smashed his previous career best of 3,631 scoring, 4,331 points. 

  • Nathan Wyant: Wyant set a career-best in every event he competed in as part of the heptathlon today. These included the 60m hurdles (10.21), the pole vault (3.15m), and the 1000m (2:45.79). Combined with the events on day one Wyant set a new personal record in the heptathlon of 3,840 points. 

  • Aaron Strauber: The 60m hurdles were a strong performance for Strauber, earning a career-high of 9.04. 

  • K'Anthony Benjamin: Benjamin delivered the eighth quickest all-time ERAU time during the 60m dash (7.00). 

  • Jack Brooks: The top Eagle finisher in the 800m did so by running a career best of 1:57.41. 

Looking ahead, the Eagles will be traveling back to Gainesville, to compete at the Alachua County Collegiate Invitational on February 1-2.
