Jean-Louis Named WBCA Honorable Mention All-American

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Madyson Jean-Louis continued to make program history on Thursday when she became the first Embry-Riddle women's basketball player to be recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. Jean-Louis received 2025 WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches' All-America honorable mention as selected by the WBCA NCAA Division II Awards Committee.
 
Jean-Louis collected many accolades in her final season wearing the Blue and Gold. The Grand Prairie, Texas native was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association Women's Basketball All-South Region First Team, marking her second appearance on the All-Region team. She was also named the Sunshine State Conference Player and Defensive Player of the Year and made her second consecutive appearance on the All-Conference First Team and All-Defensive Team rosters. She capped her senior campaign averaging 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in her 31.3 minutes per game across 32 contests. Jean-Louis finished the regular season second in SSC three-point field goal percentage (.448), fourth in points per game (16.8), and sixth in field-goal percentage (.477). On Feb. 26, she vaulted to the top of the Eagles' all-time scoring list and is the first in program history to break 1,500 points (1,577).
