DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle Women's Basketball Head Coach
Lisa Wilson has announced the addition of four signees to the Eagles' roster for the 2025-26 season. Maya Collins, Lucie Keune, Ilektra Polychronopoulou and Eliana Sheplee will join earlier signees Jareah Branch and Sydney Roufousse as newcomers to the program in the fall.
Collins is a 5-10 point guard from Englewood, Florida, who played prep basketball at Lemon Bay High School and will major in Interdisciplinary Studies. A three-year team captain and four-time team MVP, she graduated as the Manta Rays' all-time leader in multiple categories, including points (1,620), steals (465) and assists (379). Collins also set the Lemon Bay single-season assist record with 132 in 2022-23 and averaged 16.6 points, 5.8 boards, 3.9 assists and 4.0 steals as a senior. A three-time FACA 4a District Player of the Year, she was also named Sun Preps Athlete of the Year as a junior and was an All-Area selection four times.

Keune is one of three international student-athletes being added to the roster as she hails from Recklinghausen, Germany. Standing at 5-7, the combo guard averaged 20.5 points, 11.5 rebounds 3.5 assists and four steals per game with her U18 team, which included a personal single-game record of 38 points. She was part of the U18 3-on-3 team that won the German Championship and led the U16 squad to back-to-back German Championships. Keune expects to major in Aerospace Physiology.
Polychronopoulou is the other international addition to the team as she comes to Daytona Beach from Athens, Greece. In her final year of prep basketball with Nea Ionia Basketball Club, the forward averaged 8.2 points, 13.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest. Selected team captain and team MVP, she led Nea Ionia to an undefeated season and a national championship in 2024-25. Polychronopoulou plans to major in Global Conflict Studies.

Sheplee is a transfer who also brings size to the guard position, standing at 5-10. She played 10 games at the University of Northern Iowa and averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds before taking a medical redshirt. Before going to UNI, the Birchwood, Wisconsin product played for Rice Lake High School where she was a three-time All-State and All-Conference honoree in both basketball and volleyball. She graduated as the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,550 points and averaged 20.7 points, nine boards and 3.3 steals per game. Sheplee also excelled in track as a state champion and state record-holder in the 400m and was the winner of the U.S. Marine Corps 3-Sport Athlete of the Year Award. A Wisconsin Scholar-Athlete award winner, Sheplee will major in Business Management.
