Men's Track and Field Earns 14 All-Region Selections

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Members of the Embry-Riddle men's track and field team earned 2025 All-Region honors for the outdoor season from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), as announced Wednesday. The Eagles collected an impressive 14 accolades in the South Region.

To earn All-Region recognition, student-athletes must rank among the top five individuals in their respective events within the region.

Freshman, Aleksander Schade stood out as the only freshman Eagle to make the list, earning All-Region honors in the 800m. He ran a personal best of 1:50.10 at the Peach Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, winning second place.

Another highlight came from ERAU's dominant javelin squad, which claimed four of the region's top five spots. Ryan Flournoy, who recently qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships, led the group that also included Chase O'Connell, Aden Parsons, and Mason Briggs.

Several Eagles earned All-Region recognition for the first time in their careers, including: K'Anthony Benjamin (100m), Mason Briggs (javelin), Aaron Nash (long jump), Aden Parsons (javelin), Aleksander Schade (800m), Jacob Swavely (discus) and Tristen Wheaton (hammer).
