ORLANDO, Fla. – Three members of the Embry-Riddle softball team received All-Sunshine State Conference honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Emma Wood (first base),
Leah Oberkehr (outfielder), and
Kendall Wilkie (designated player) all earned Second Team nods while Wood also was selected to the All-SSC Defensive Team.
For the third-consecutive season, Wood has been named to an All-SSC Team with back-to-back seasons as a first base selection. The three-time All-SSC honoree also gathered Defensive Team honors for the 2026 season.
Wood finished with a team-leading .361 batting average and started in all 50 games for the Eagles during the 2026 campaign. The first baseman notched 57 hits, 13 doubles, three triples, and three homers while driving in 26 runs. She finished with a .538 slugging percentage and a .425 on-base percentage. Defensively, Wood led the team with 298 putouts and produced 22 assists while allowing just six errors for a .982 fielding percentage. She finished her career as the program's all-time leader in doubles with 42.
Oberkehr gathered Second Team All-SSC honors for the second-straight season as the leading Eagle in the outfield.
The senior lit up the basepaths with a conference-leading 46 stolen bases but also proved to be a threat at the plate with a .308 batting average, 33 runs scored, 48 hits, four extra-base hits, and 13 RBI. In the outfield, Oberkehr produced 82 putouts, four assists, and six errors for a .935 fielding percentage. She finished her career as the program's all-time leader in stolen bases with 118.
Wilkie had a standout sophomore season as one of the go-to options for the designated player position in the lineup, earning her first All-SSC Second Team honor.
The sophomore saw action in 38 games with 25 starts on the season, posting a .348 batting average and a 1.091 OPS. Wilkie led the team with five home runs and totaled 29 hits, four doubles, and four triples while driving in 26 runs. She completed the 2026 season with a .691 slugging percentage and was a perfect nine-for-nine in stolen bases.
