Day One Results
TAMPA, Fla. - The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team competed in the first day of the USF Invitational on Friday. Only a handful of Eagles were in action as just four field events were contested on the day.
Paige Bussard placed fourth in the hammer throw with a personal-best distance of 39.55 while Caitlyn Joslynn finished sixth with a personal-record mark of 34.33m.
Bussard also set a PR with a toss of 28.10m in the javelin to earn a fifth-place finish.
In the high jump, Halle Green-Anderson came in second with a mark of 5.47m while Evanna Ramirez was eighth with a distance of 4.51m.
The vast majority of the events, including all of the track events, will take place tomorrow.
