NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Embry-Riddle women's cross country team continues to pile up the accolades as the trio of Sarah Edens, Alex Orr and Kristen Metcalfe were named to the USTFCCCA All-Region team after their top-25 finish at last week's NCAA II South Region Championship.

Edens finished fourth last weekend, running to a time of 21:55.05. The first team All-SSC performer paced the Eagles in every race during the 2017 season. Orr was eighth overall in 22:29.60, while Metcalfe had her best race of the season, finishing 24th overall in 23:10.77.

The three Eagles are among 198 student-athletes at the NCAA II level to earn All-Region distinction. ERAU will compete for a national title on Nov. 18 in Evansville, Indiana after earning a berth via its third-place team finish.
