Alessia Tripaldelli are the eighth-ranked doubles team in the South Region according to the ITA Division II regional rankings released on Tuesday. Mautner and Tripaldelli are the first Eagles to appear in regional rankings since the Eagles became full members of NCAA II.
At the ITA South Regional, unseeded Mautner and Tripaldelli teamed up for an upset of the fourth-seeded tandem of Sara Yigin and Mayumi Saguchi. The Eagle duo later advanced to the quarterfinal round before falling to regional finalists Zala Dovnik and Nika Kozar of Nova Southeastern.
