GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team continued the 2024 indoor season at the RADD College Invite at the Alachua County Sports Complex on Friday, with various Eagles finishing in the top five in multiple categories.
In the pole vault, Quinn Neal set a career best of 4.05m to finish eighth overall behind teammates Conrad Prisby (4.50m) and Michael Kotey (4.35m). In the long jump, a personal-record 6.69m leap from Walker Cowherd placed him in fourth.
The shot put saw ERAU's first top-five finish of the day, as Chance Tressler recorded a personal best mark of 13.65m to place third. Another top-five finish followed with Kobe Diggs coming in fourth in the triple jump with a 14.28m leap.
On the track, Brendon Shea recorded the Eagles' first provisional time of the season taking first place in the 3000m run, setting a personal best of 8:15.01.
Embry-Riddle wrapped up the day in the weight throw, where both Jacob Swavely (13.69m) and Tressler (13.68m) set personal records.
The Eagles are back in action tomorrow morning, as they will be competing in the second of two days of the event starting at 9:30.
