Four Named to SSC Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Team

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's lacrosse team had four individuals recognized as All-Conference selections by the Sunshine State Conference on Friday. In voting conducted among the league's coaches Eliana Enners, Caitlin Gavin, Callison Foreman and Kenley Zeruto all garnered All-Conference honors.
 
Enners made program history on Friday becoming the first ERAU women's lacrosse student-athlete to be named Freshman of the Year. The midfielder from North Hampton. New Hampshire was also named to the All-Conference first team. She led the Eagles in goals (62), points (82), shots (114), draw controls (87), and ground balls (49) this season. She also ranked third in SSC groundballs per game (2.71), fourth in shots per game (6.29), fifth in goals per game (3.29), fifth in draw controls per game (5.00), and seventh in points per game (4.29).
 
Gavin, who is also a freshman, joined Enners on the first team. The Marietta, Georgia product closed out her first season wearing the Blue and Gold leading the SSC in caused turnovers (53) and caused turnovers per game (2.94). She totaled 53 points on 41 goals and 12 assists, picked up 48 ground balls and won 33 draw controls.
 
Zeruto (Huntingtown, Maryland) was listed on the All-SSC roster for the second time in as many seasons, earning second-team honors again this year. The junior etched her name in the Eagle record books setting the single season record for assists (50) in 2024. She finished the year with 31 goals and 81 points to with 20 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers.
 
Foreman (Vancouver, British Columbia) was also named to the second team. She was third in the Eagle lineup with 67 points and had three six-point performances on the way to finishing the year with 48 goals and 19 assists. The junior also picked up 26 ground balls and won 21 draws.
