Women’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's basketball team unveiled its schedule for the program's 10th season of competition on Wednesday. The 2024-25 slate will include 27 regular season games as the Eagles eye a second consecutive NCAA II postseason appearance.
 
Lisa Wilson's squad, which includes 11 returning letterwinners and four returning starters, will host 12 games at the ICI Center this season. Three of their games will be played at neutral sites while the remaining 12 contests will be played on the road.
 
For the third time in as many seasons, the Eagles will play Auburn Montgomery and Montevallo to open the season. Embry-Riddle will face host Auburn Montgomery on Nov. 8 and Montevallo on Nov. 9 in the Gulf South/Sunshine State Conference Crossover.
 
Following a road game against Flagler on Nov. 13, the Eagles will welcome Puerto Rico Mayaguez to the ICI Center for the first home game of the season. The UPRM game will be the Eagles' final tune-up before they jump into conference play at Eckerd on Nov. 20.
 
The next four games will be played at the ICI Center. The Blue and Gold hosts conference foes Barry (Nov. 23), Florida Tech (Dec. 4) and Saint Leo (Dec. 14), as well as Northwood in a non-conference tilt on Nov. 30.
 
The last two games of 2024 will take the Eagles to Las Vegas, Nevada for the D2 Holiday Hoops Classic. The Eagles begin tournament play against Lubbock Christian on Dec. 19 and wrap up the trip out west against the University of Texas at Tyler on Dec. 20.
 
The Eagles will be in action on the first day of the new year resuming league play on the road against Lynn on Jan. 1. After another road game at Florida Southern on Jan. 8, the Eagles are back on their home court to face the team that eliminated the Eagles from postseason play in 2024 in Tampa (Jan. 11), and Palm Beach Atlantic (Jan. 15). Three of the last four games of the month will be played on the road with trips to Rollins (Jan. 18), Nova Southeastern (Jan. 22) and Florida Tech (Jan. 29) sandwiching a Jan. 25 home game against Eckerd.
 
After traveling to Saint Leo on Feb. 1, the Eagles play Lynn (Feb. 5) and Florida Southern (Feb. 12) at home before playing two more road games at Tampa (Feb. 15) and Palm Beach Atlantic (Feb. 19). Games against Rollins (Feb. 22) and Nova Southeastern (Feb. 26) close out the home schedule and a March 1 trip to Barry wraps up regular season play.
 
The top eight teams based on the final regular season league standings will compete in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament, which starts with quarterfinal action on March 4. The SSC Tournament champion will be crowned on March 6 and will earn an automatic bid to NCAA II postseason play which gets underway on March 9.
