DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's lacrosse team achieved the first national ranking in program history on Monday. The Eagles are ranked 16th in NCAA II according to the most recent United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches Poll.
The national recognition comes on the heels of the Eagles rattling off five wins in a row. That five-game winning streak included upsets of No. 19 Newberry and No. 14 Molloy, as well as victories over North Greenville, Florida Southern and Palm Beach Atlantic, all of whom were receiving votes.
At 6-3 on the year and 2-0 in league play, the Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, hosting Florida Tech (RV) at the Embry-Riddle Lacrosse Field.
